A study at the Cleveland Clinic, as reported by Alan Fisher of Al Jazeera, produced dramatric results in testing the effectiveness of gastric bypass surgery on eliminating diabetes.  The study split 150 patients into three groups.  The first group took the best diabetes drugs available, the second group had stomach-reducing surgery without gastric bypass and the third group had gastric bypass surgery.

In this video, Dr. Philip Schauer, Professor of Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic discusses the encouraging results, which showed that almost 50% of the gastric bypass group saw their diabetes go into remission, while only 10% of the diabetes drug group achieved the same outcome.

  • Hi Everyone, I have a B12 Deficiency and I have been taking B12 supplements.  A Doctor, who is a friend of mine is recommending I switch over to an IM B12 injection. Can anyone tell me what other form of therapies they recommend apart from the IM B12 injections?
